How it connects
Google provides APIs for Gmail, Calendar, Drive and Sheets, with Google sign-in for accounts. Access is granted per user or, for organisation-wide tasks, by your Workspace admin.
Good to know
- Apps that read Gmail content go through extra Google review. Most jobs don't need that access, and it's scoped out where possible.
- Moving a spreadsheet into a proper database usually comes first, with Sheets kept as a view.
