Custom software that works with HubSpot
HubSpot is good at holding contacts and deals. It's less good at the work that happens around them: the quote you build, the job you deliver, the portal your customer logs into. Custom software can fill those gaps and keep HubSpot as the single record.
Discuss your projectJobs a HubSpot connection can take off your plate
- A quote built in your own calculator creates the contact and a deal with the right amount
- Moving a deal to Closed Won sets up the customer's portal login and sends their welcome
- Customer activity in your app (bookings, uploads, check-ins) appears on the HubSpot timeline
- A won deal raises a draft invoice in Xero or QuickBooks
These are examples of what's possible. Your project starts with how your business works, not this list.
How it connects
HubSpot has a well-documented API for contacts, companies, deals and tickets, plus webhooks that tell your app the moment something changes. Access runs through a private app or OAuth connection that you control and can revoke.
Good to know
- Some API features depend on your HubSpot tier. This gets checked against your account before quoting.
- Custom properties are fine. We agree which fields your app owns so nothing gets overwritten.
